Glossary of Book Terms
If the pages of a completed book are not shaved down to a uniform surface, they are called uncut.
The text present in the book is underlined to draw attention to the underlined text. See highlighting.
An unopened book has its leaves joined together without them being split apart.
The pages of the book are not numbered, even though all the signatures are designated with letters.
Unrestored book that is present in its original condition. It may be damaged sometimes.
